Cafe Terroni is an authentic Southern Italian style cafe/restaurant in the heart of Yarraville Village, just four doors from the iconic Sun Theatre offering rustic food, great coffee and unique local and Italian wines at affordable prices.
The menu is uncomplicated – using fresh seasonal produce maintaining the simple processes and cuisine of the Southern Italian kitchen. The menu reflects a resurrection of some old recipes from regional towns whilst also offering some favourites. From the specialty homemade gnocchi and ravioli to the signature twice cooked duck and the famous tiramisu. There is always something for everyone at Cafe Terroni.
Cafe Terroni has a distinctive Italian feel with an old fashioned, cosy, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with old family photos and charm throughout this quaint venue. Soft lighting and Italian music play in the background and the upstairs dining room seats 35 people which is also available for private functions.
Experience a taste of Southern Italy and why Cafe Terroni is loved by so many Yarraville locals.
Look for Pinocchio perched at the front bar and you'll find Cafe Terroni, a gorgeous, relaxed southern Italian restaurant run by a husband and wife team.
The interior is a warm blend of bricks and wood, and the menu concentrates on pastas – the house-made gnocchi is the specialty – and a great wine list to boot.
